Access for All

At Disability Network Lakeshore, our mission is to connect people with disabilities to resources and opportunities while building communities where everyone can participate, contribute, and belong.

This #GivingTuesday, we want people with disabilities to feel our collective support. Through your generosity, we can send a clear, unified message: Access creates inclusive communities. Access looks different for everyone. And, we all deserve access.

Two of the many services Disability Network Lakeshore provides are community education and accessibility assessments. Education covers a variety of topics: DEI+Access, ADAA Basics, Providing reasonable accommodations, and much more.  Assessments can be completed on a building or consist of a review of an organization's policies.  All assessments follow the ADA 2010 Standards for Accessible Design and are performed by a certified ADA Coordinator.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 this #GivingTuesday.  This will allow us to reach over 15 community organizations to promote inclusion and  improve access for many of the over 40,000 people with disabilities living in Allegan and Ottawa counties.

Help us cultivate communities that provide access for all.
